Bio

I created this journal with the intention of helping people learn to cook from scratch. I have a theory that if you know the basics that go into common dishes, you will be able to better make variations on those dishes and also create your own variations. My goal is to get you away from having to use recipes. Don't get me wrong. Recipes are great. I read cookbooks all the time, but who wants to be tied to a cookbook all the time? I hope to help you cut the apron strings, so to speak.
